Floristry Courses for Beginners
There’s something wonderful about working with your hands. Floristry has a calming, restorative effect. We call it flower therapy. Our workshops are designed to inspire. You’ll leave full of confidence and an urge to create. For friends, for teams, for flower lovers flying solo. Beginners or seasoned snippers. The experience is relaxed, fun and filled with flowers.
The Floristry Classes we Offer
Join us for a whole range of different floristry workshops at our studio in Hackney, East London.
Come for an evening class and learn how to make a hand tied bouquet or low vase arrangement in our wild, gardeny style. The Appreciate the Seasons workshops are a wonderful gift for any flower fan. Or come and spend the day at a flower field in the heart of Walthamstow with the wonderful London Flower Farmer.
Our one day Introduction to Floristry workshop will give you a taster as to what it's like working as a florist, or if you want to take the plunge join us for our Career Course, an intensive three or five day or 2 week workshop where we cover all you need to start your flowery journey.
Light refreshments and all the flowers and materials you will need are provided on all of our workshops.
We are passionate about using British flowers. Throughout the summer season we use as many British flowers as possible from our cutting garden in Hackney and local growers.

We work with beautiful, seasonal British flowers whenever possible, and everything we teach uses sustainable, foam-free techniques. Expect a relaxed, inspiring atmosphere, expert guidance, and lots of flowers to take home.

A unique one-day collaborative workshop set in the magical flower field of the London Flower Farmer, right in the heart of Walthamstow.
Join us for a slow, joyful day surrounded by a field full of seasonal blooms, where you’ll learn both how flowers are grown and how to design with them in a natural, garden-inspired style. This is an absolutely perfect gift for any flower lover — whether you’re a complete beginner or already a little flower-obsessed.
You’ll have time to wander the field, discover the varieties in bloom, cut your own bucket of flowers, and create a beautiful arrangement guided by us in our signature wild and loose style. Expect a day filled with colour, scent, sunshine (we hope!), and plenty of inspiration.

A seasonal, joy-filled journey into natural, garden-inspired floristry.
Our 2-Week Career Course is designed for those who want to build real floristry confidence, explore a wide range of techniques, and experience the rhythm of working with flowers day after day.
Whether you dream of starting your own business, working as a freelance florist, or simply want to deepen your creative practice, this course offers an inspiring blend of hands-on making, professional insight and plenty of time to play.
If you can’t commit to both weeks, you’re very welcome to join Week One or Week Two individually — each week is designed to be a complete, inspiring experience in its own right, giving you practical skills, creative confidence, and plenty of portfolio-ready work.

Our 3-Day Floristry Course is perfect for those who want to deepen their skills and spend three inspiring days surrounded by flowers. Whether you’re exploring floristry as a future career or simply want to immerse yourself in seasonal, natural design, you’ll learn a beautiful range of techniques in our welcoming De Beauvoir studio — using generous buckets of seasonal blooms.
Over the three days, you’ll build confidence, experiment with scale, and create designs you’ll be proud to photograph and take home.
